F&Q

Q1: What kind of platform is Sawanleb?

Sawanleb is a crowdfunding community focused on innovative physical products. We connect creative project creators with users who support innovation. Our unique feature is the “Investment + Reward” dual model: When you support a project, you not only receive the desired product as a reward but also earn our platform credits (PTC), which can be used for cash withdrawal, reinvestment, or exchanging for other platform benefits.

Q2: Are platform credits (PTC) cryptocurrency or an investment product?

No. PTC is a user rights credit issued internally by the Sawanleb platform. It is not a cryptocurrency, security, or financial investment product. It cannot be traded or transferred. Its primary purpose is to redeem various rights and services within the platform. We explicitly do not promise any investment returns.

Q3: What’s the difference between supporting a project here and shopping online?

The core difference lies in the stage and risk. You are supporting a new product in its creative or R&D phase, not a finished, in-stock item. This means the project carries inherent risks of delays, changes, or even non-delivery. However, you also get the chance to acquire innovative products at a better price, be among the first to receive them, and personally participate in their creation journey. We manage these risks through strict vetting, transparent information disclosure, and safeguard mechanisms.

Q4: Is my support money safe?

Extremely safe. We employ 100% fund custody. All your payments go directly into the custodial accounts of our licensed third-party payment institutions or partner banks, completely segregated from Sawanleb’s own operating funds. The platform cannot access these funds before a project is successfully funded.

Q5: What happens to my money if a project fails to fund or cannot be completed?

We operate on the “All-or-Nothing” principle:
Project Fails to Reach Goal: All pledged funds are automatically and fully refunded via the original payment method. No action is required from you.
Project Funds But Fails to Deliver: This is a rare scenario. We will activate our risk reserve fund and contingency plans. Our priority is to coordinate a refund from the creator. If they are unable to fulfill this, the platform will utilize the risk reserve fund to protect supporters’ rights to the greatest extent possible.

Q6: How can I track the progress of a project I’ve supported?

Each project has a dedicated “Transparency Page.” Creators are expected to post regular updates with text, images, and videos. You can also interact directly with the creator team in the project’s update section and comments. Furthermore, the platform monitors the achievement of key project milestones.

Q7: How do I earn PTC credits?

You primarily earn credits by supporting projects. After a successful payment, the system will grant you a locked amount of PTC proportional to your support value. You can also earn small amounts of bonus credits by actively participating in community discussions, inviting friends, and other community activities.

Q8: When can I use the PTC credits I’ve earned?

To ensure creators fulfill their promises, credits are in a “Locked” state after your support is successful. They will be released to your available account in batches or all at once once the project reaches its preset shipping date or key milestones. You can view the estimated release timeline for each credit entry in the “Credit Calendar” within your personal center.

Q9: What are PTC credits used for?

Released, available credits have four main uses:
Withdrawal Request (Platform Buyback): Can be converted to cash at a base value and returned to your original account (a small processing fee may apply).
Reinvestment in New Projects: When using credits to support new projects, you enjoy a contribution bonus, effectively “amplifying” your support power.
Platform Store Purchases: Use credits to redeem successfully mass-produced products or other goods in the Sawanleb Store, often with exclusive discounts.
Redeem Privileges: Exchange credits for premium memberships, event tickets, or exclusive benefits offered by creators.

Q10: Are there any restrictions on credit withdrawal (buyback)?

Yes. To ensure system health, there may be a minimum withdrawal amount, and requests must pass the platform’s identity verification and risk control review (e.g., to prevent money laundering or other anomalous behavior). Withdrawal requests are typically processed within several business days.

Q11: How can I trust that the platform’s credit records and fund data are authentic?

We have built a Three-Tier Transparency System:
Personal Ledger: Your account backend allows you to trace the origin and usage of every credit.
Project Transparency Page: Publicly displays the total support amount, total credits issued, and evidence for milestones.
Platform Audit Report: We regularly engage independent accounting firms to audit our fund custody and credit system, publishing summary reports. Key data is also synchronized to third-party electronic deposition platforms.

Q12: How does the platform vet projects? Can you guarantee every project’s success?

We conduct preliminary reviews of all projects for qualifications, creativity, and feasibility, but this is not a guarantee of success. Innovation is inherently uncertain. Our role is to set thresholds, ensure information disclosure, monitor progress, and use the credit release mechanism to incentivize creators to act in good faith. Ultimately, the decision to support any project requires your own judgment based on the disclosed information.

Q13: How does the platform make money?

Our primary revenue comes from the platform service fee charged to successfully funded projects (deducted after fundraising concludes), and a small processing fee when users withdraw credits. This aligns our interests with project success and user satisfaction.

Q14: How can I contact you if I have a problem or dispute?

You can submit a ticket via the “Contact Support” link at the bottom of the website, or consult the detailed User Agreement and Community Guidelines. For project-specific issues, we strongly recommend first contacting the creator directly via the comment or Q&A function on the project page.
